Rebecca is a nationally respected leader in perinatal nursing. She brings to the program over 25 years of civilian and military experience with a career that has encompassed roles such as clinical nurse,manager, perinatal nurse practitioner, consultant, and educator.An active member in AWHONN, she has held various leadership positions including the board of directors.She is an author contributor to AWHONN’s Fetal Monitoring Principles and Practices (5th Ed),Mosby’s Fetal Monitoring: A Multidisciplinary Approach (8th Ed), various peer reviewed journals,and is a peer reviewer for several publications.Most recently, she worked in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division at a teaching hospital in the Pacific NW where she was involved with direct patient care, teaching, and research.
